World-renowned researchers supervised my research work during doctoral studies. This includes:
I have extensive research collaborations around the world. Main research collaborators (past and present) include:
Prof. Qiang Li (Deaf Psychologist) Tianjin University of Technology, China
United States of America
Prof. Ross Roeser (Lois and Howard Wolf Professor in Pediatric Hearing) The University of Texas at Dallas
These collaborations with clinicians and researcher from various disciplines add significantly to the interdisciplinary nature of research. This has many advantages including: sharing expertise in specialist areas to supplement each other’s knowledge; sharing good practice and working models; sharing equipment and resources; and so on. It is also evident from the latest funding analysis that the grant-providers prefer to support research bids from a well-established research institute and/or a research network. Hence, a collaborative approach to research has significant advantages both in improving the quality of research work and in gaining funding to sustain research in medium and long-term.
